Anyone else finding it hard to adjust to the new sound?

Personally I might love it after a while, but it´s going to take some getting used to.

I like their "classic" albums much more (The Jester Race, Whoracle, Colony, Clayman) if compared to the recent ones, where they jumped into the metalcore train

It depends on personal tastes though, as always Smile

As ixigia said it's all down to personal taste. They're just different now, not necessarily worse. They're still quite good live.

This era for me. Smile

I'll give the new album a go whenever it's on Grooveshark.

I pretty much dig all of their albums... but maybe because I only heard of them a couple years ago (after Come Clarity came out) and had their entire catalog to choose from and didn't have to adjust to any "new" sound. Although don't get me wrong, the last album was fairly weak... I'm sure this will get a fairly good listening to once it leaks.

Saw them live last year sometime and that was a pretty awesome show Smile

Can't open the link cause I'm not installing spottify but the thing I've always liked about In Flames, is when a song of theirs comes on, you know it's them. Doesn't matter what song or album or what era, you ALWAYS know it's In Flames.

If you like their sound theres another band that plays like them. they just use alot more instruments.
