You pick lie when you have evidence in your notebook that they are lying,which you need to pick after. if you dont have evidence, but you expect they are not telling the whole story you pick doubt.

Sometimes someone doesnt look you in the eyes (most of the time when they are hiding soemthing, so lie or doubt) but they say they are afraid etc, you need to pick truth (cause they aint lying or hiding) to comfort them.

I get about 9/10 right (with some occasional help from intuition pts) by keeping the above in mind.

Well there's two disks in the bin. Both burned, and verified, 100% ... but putting them into the Xbox shows "Play DVD" and just the X360 logo when I launch either disk. Bah.

I'm using the files from usenet titles nog-lad2 and if I run them through abgx360 it indicates the SS is incorrect and the video partition doesn't match any known data.

Burned anyway and all appears to be fine. Just completed the silk stocking mission and so far no crashes. I'm running LT+ with a liteon drive. No bothered about stealth as its banned anyhow but so far no issues playing.

Did/does anyone use IMGBurn for burning this game? I've always been a fan of IMGBurn, no bad burns ever, but there is also something different about LA Noire; the disk label on every game I've ever burned was XGD2 .. this one is "DVD_ROM" Could that be why both D1 and D2 failed? The LB is set correctly (I use the .DVD file anyhow) and the verify worked on both ABGX360 and IMGBurn.

oh and yes, my drive supports the DVD-ROM booktype/bit-setting and is set for that already. Like I said; every other game worked fine except this one.

Burned it too with imgburn. No problems Smile
But i patched it to wave 3, because i dont have lt+ flashed yet.
I already launched it once through abx360. There was something fixed, but don't know if it was important Smile

video partition was wrong i had to patch the image to make it run !

Nope. Third fail. That takes my lifetime failed burns to five. How fucked up is that? Three fails all on the same game .... and it's not the 360 drive, I checked a dozen other titles and they all work. I'm betting this has something to do with the dashboard update I did earlier today Sad

I don't need a new image, the image is 100% in ABGX. Nothing wrong with it. It's something either with the settings in IMGBurn (doubtful, since they're the same I've always used) or my burner itself (more likely, seeing as how the rest of the machine is falling apart.. the drive probably felt left out Rolling Eyes)

Also, what's this about patching disc 2? Disc 1 runs fine for me on LT1.0. Do I need to grab this patch or patch it to Wave 11 or what?

Aye, tried burning at 4x which is the slowest these disks can burn. The patching of D2 is to replace the broken/corrupted video partition. D1 is unaffected.

You need to select manual patch for video in ABGX360.

Again guys, I really need to know; what is the volume label for LA Noire? All my 360 games in the past have been variants on *XGD2* -- but this one is DVD-ROM. The actual ISO volume name is DVD-ROM. Is that right?

Mine is labeled DVD-ROM too.
Have you tried to manually update your dashboard via usb stick?
I tried to update first from the LA Noire disc, but that was somehow fucked after console restart. Then updatet to 2.0.12625 via usb stick.

I already updated direct via XBL (I'm not banned) Prior to today, I hadn't turned my 360 on in months.. and was using the last Kinect Beta dash that didn't include AP25. Now I'm on the very latest, direct from MS, and my other games work but not this one. I don't get the movie playing that says "To play this game you must insert it into your 360 console" that would usually signify an issue with the layer break, all I get is "Play DVD" and then a white screen with the 360 logo.

It's driving me up the bloody wall! I've already wasted three disks >_<

At least I know it's not the volume label, thank you <3

delete the lb file

run abgx to make a new 1

take clonecd (my secret weapon)

burn low 2 or 4x

error list/

1dust on burner lens
2bad or dusty disc
3buffer running low during burn
4bad dowload
5bad extracted files

Nope. Fourth burn didn't work either "Play DVD" - and that's after manually setting the layerbreak. I'm honestly stumped .. and not only stumped, I've given up. ISOs deleted. Xbox stuffed back into the cabinet, never to be used again.

I'll wait for the PS3 version and the inevitable 3.60 jailbreak.

ur either prepared or unprepared

may be its an fw or update conflict

something between wave 9 and 11

if so ur burns should be good on another box

u can clear ur cache, unplug ur hdd and reset ur box completly or u condsider a reflash

and its a good feeling conquering the mountan Wink

I had the same problem, thought I had made a load of coasters and had pretty much given up. Then I tried my old 'activate.iso' disk, and it's works! Works with every disk i burnt. I shouldn't need to use it as i have the latest firmware, but it worked for me.

They will kill the hostage and you will fail. So yes - a headshot is the best solution in that situation. Really in ALL situations dealing with no-name criminals. Phelps is a bit like Dirty Harry in that regard.
