A PC game where you can't map keys and there's no mouse inversion.. fanfuckingtastic. Glad I didn't pre-order this.

Dont know if it its a spoiler but
 Spoiler: | The prison escape gameplay from 2010, is it the same escape at the beginning of the game? Because it seems to miss a lot of things, unless I missed it. Saving the prisoned booby lady? |

I hope this game is all that. I bought it from Gamestop today, even though I don't normally get in to RPG's that much. But since it's PC exclusive, you guys all rave about it like crazy, and I like to buy games and support PC devs, I went ahead and bought it. Also I like to have the paper guide and such, so I figured I'd just get it retail instead of digital. I guess the pre-order in-game merchant that Gamestop has was a bonus too.

You can map keys, but only in the launcher. |
I can't seem to map to arrow keys even from there. Reminds me of playing old PS2 ports, having to map stuff in the fucking launcher.

Wow, the minimum FPS scale linear with the number of cores (even more than linear when going from one to two cores: +118%). The average FPS values scale less than linear, but still impressive.

There's one thing I sort of "dislike" so far. And that's occasional lag. Both in menus and also in-game. I'd add to that the lack of mouse acceleration option and the way too high mouse sensitivity, even at 0 value in game options.
Tried to tweak the user.ini with no success.
I keep forgetting this ain't Oblivion or Fallout, hehe. I am way too much used to tweak each possible bit of some RPG game .ini.

Also does the game take some time to start up, like 30 sec or so? As well as when pausing the game does it sometimes freeze up for a couple of seconds and then the menu appears

Yes, it is normal to be so.

Wow, what a day... I got up earlier today morning than always to buy this game, went to shop and asked about it, spent there about 30 min just to be informed that it didnt arrive yet, thanks to this i was late for work for nothing.
After work I visited another shop, bought the game and headed back to home. And guess what happened, a fuckin CRC error. Again to the shop to replace my faulty copy, stood in line for about half an hour just to be told that manager is absent today so he cannot check if there's indeed something wrong so I need to go there again tommorow. FUCK THIS SHIT!!! This is how it is if you want to do something right, I fuckin lost all day and gas money worth another game... I'm not going to buy another game in a looooooong time if ever.
