I dont' mind the glitches really. I hate the QTe's and the finishing moves, together with the consolish inventory, but this game made me feel like i did back when i played Half-Life 2, and that's no easy task. I'm sure they'll fix everything.
P.S: Got my copy from UK today. I'll check if the original securom is really 'causing problems or it's just badly cracked.

You can turn off QTEs.

GOG gives me 10+ FPS more than retail and minimizes loading times. lol @ securom. Hopefully they'll get rid of it in the next patch. Also the troll DLC on the servers appears to be broken ATM. Descripition is all messed up.

Same here. 10-15+ FPS with the GOG version, from 20-25 to 30-45. (dual-core cpu so that might be a reason for the massive frame increase).
It's not much certainly but at least the forums and bugs are being worked on.

I think i go back and replay the original till the 10,000 bugs are squashed
along with some patches and maybe a new driver or 2

This retail Securom crap performance sucks big time.
I plan to buy the RETAIL version of the game - box, map, coin, touchable stuff, you know ( ) etc. I am actually preparing to preorder at a RO online store - gameshop.ro - as they offer a discount for a delay in delivering the game which is fine with me at this time.
But seeing this Securom crap breaks my enthusiasm and it seems I have to wait a while for a patch that fixes at least 10k bugs/issues AND, hopefully this DRM issue.

Well, I guess we have to wait a while until we reach the 1.4 version of the game then. (The Witcher 1 was "complete" after updates - including EE - reached this "magic" number -1.4).
Just fucking great.. now we have to wait for a fuckton of patches.. "good job" CDP I even buyed your fucking game from GOG.. now I have to wait to play properly because you couldn't deal with this shit in QA a month ago.. just fucking great.
