Are you sure that's not a corrupt download? That sounds odd. |
I am totally sure as i have it as my edition bonus and i reinstalled the game a few times and it's always 0 byte but it says installed in the dlc menu of the launcher.

Works. Although I would trow away jacket and trousers dlcs. Don't like overpowered freebee items. Takes out the fun.
P.S.
Note that these 3 packs are actually "decrypted" and convered to dzip format.Just taking dlc file from someone else will not work.
If anyone tries comparing dlc and dzip files in hex editor he'll see that only difference is near the end, where dlc files have gibberish, while dzip shows several strings that seem like a file names.
Probably during game load that gibberish is converted to those strings for legal users.

Yes, downloads are generated on-the-fly for the CDKey requesting the download. Sharing these links is inadvisable and likely to get your CDKey banned/revoked.

so a thing,
wanna buy the game, I got a steamac , uk . no option except premium avaiable.
so well up for supporting this crew , but where can I buy a digital standard edition , cause steam are looking £35 uk pounds for there distro , so current conversion rates makes that 56.73 dollers.
Seriously where is my fucking incentive not to simply grab this , I have no desire to screw the CD guys over , but equally I expect the same in return.
am I wrong ?

Digital version? Get it direct from GOG.com. No DRM and it's MASSIVELY cheaper than Steam.

It most certainly is NOT the same price.
GOG: £26.99
Steam: £34.99
Last time I checked, Valve takes a sizeable percentage of profits from each sale, too. Still, Steam has it cheaper than I thought -- usually new titles get sold for a lot more than £35, heh.

I got him killed by telling him the amulet was magical so he abandoned his armor and after finding the body and retrieving the thing it says -10% to armor.
Anyway I found a witch/alchemist in the outskirts of the Flotsam village, one of the traders there marked on your map, often inside her house but also often outdoors tending to the gardens.
Either conclude the quest then and there by selling the amulet or inquire and offer to help to fully repair the thing, haven't progressed further than that myself yet however.

This is all told to you in the tutorial pop-ups at the side, but to consume/create potions; hold CTRL and select the middle option - Meditate.

Ok, just received my new video card. Got the GoG executable and DLC pack from previous page (only kept troll). I still get the "Launcher Loop" problem. I was 100% sure it was video card related. I DON'T WANNA PLAY IN WINDOWED MODE. HELP!

SOLUTION! Found on GoG forums.
If your Windows desktop resolution is over 1920x1200, THE GAME WON'T START. Putting the windows resoultion under this, but over in the game settings allow you to play at full res.

Core i5-2500K @4.4ghz, 8gb DDR3-1600 ram, GeForce 560 Ti. GoG unprotected executable. 175.27 beta drivers. Graphics set to the "ultra" preset, but disabled UberSampling. Running at 2048x1152.
I get an average of 30fps (ranging from 25 to 35). It's smooth, but I was expecting a bit more?
I always still have shadowing weirdness in some scene, like the wood floor at the prologue when he is with the naked girl.

Okay I've just lost like 3 hours to this game this evening and holey monkey nuts is it incredible!!! Production value is just amazing, totally hooked in unlike most other RPGS i forget about after a day.
One question, storing items... Yes I saw it somewhere on a forum post before but if anyone know, do me a favour and send me a PM with how? Im in flotsam at the moment.
Dont want to have to go through 5 pages by tomorrow morning to look for a response to question so a PM is easier. Night guys.
p.s GOG exe transformed this game for me, i can play with around 45fps most of the time now, makes it SOOOO much more enjoyable.

Please dont make me read 250 pages of this thread, did anyone have a problem extracting the Paul.dll from the crack folder of the Skidrow release ... my ESET is reading it as a AAA trojan and I was wondering if anyone else encountered this issue?
