I still can't believe we are actually going to play this in a few days. I was a major DN3D fan back in the day and been pretty much waiting for this ever since. I so hope they capture the "magic" of the old one. The trailers really give me hope, especially the fecal matter trailer

I'll play the PC Version if the F-Keys are going to be the voice samples as in DN3D, otherwise its 360 for me . and @deelix I never "really" played through the game either. I still remember DNStuff, DNCornholio and DNScotty . I meam timewise I played this game like 10 times but never really from start to finish, same with doom or wolf3d. It was all about gameplay and instant gratification back then. Even though I absolutely love a good story in a game, and would choose story over gameplay anytime nowadays, I miss those days... but enough ramblings about the olden times

Sure, the game is surely a scam and Randy Pitchford is probably busy preparing for his disappearance. He'll settle down on some Caribbean island with a false identity and live of the money he made from DNF prerders... until the Duke fans hunt him down.

Well to be fair, I don't think anyone think it's going to change the world. To put Duke in a more serious situation would only that make the game bad. I see it as a b-movie, could be fun entertainment to kill some time, but nothing more.

It's been about 12 years coming. Obviously it's going to be shit. I expect by this point they're simply getting it out the door before their investors started to ask wtf they were doing with their money.

I think for a duke nukem game it'll be alright. But for a FPS to compete with todays CODS and CRYSIS2 and BFBC2s... it's going to suck

Lol, well of course for a nukem game it'll probably be alright, but then, the only other one to compare it to is the original! Whatever happened to that Max Payne game (where he'd shaved his head and was in Rio), isn't that by the same studio?
