How about Punisher vs. Wolverine?
Or... Punisher vs. Gambit? Gambits the best X-Man in my opinion.

He is not untouchable. I remember in a comic, Gambit flipped over Wolverine as Wolverine went to charge him. Than Gambit flew up with his staff and came behind Wolverine, and had a fire card ready to throw at him. He was like, "One move, I'll blow your head off". Wolverine stopped.

As far as Gambit vs. Punisher goes. Probably would end up a draw to be honest.
Wolverine is wayy overrated and Gambit is the toughest. Gambit is right up there with Punisher. Their both underrated and not popular.
Gambits explosive cards would match Punishers grenades and explosives. Would probably end up in a draw.
Do I like Xmen? No. Am I a fan of Gambits? Yes. Hes the only reason I care about the Xmen series. Rest is crap. Now if you guys just think realisticly, it would be a draw. Its not fanboyism either. Have to think of what they got in the arsenal, and how it would play out.
Kinda like Punisher vs. Hulk. Why did Punisher win? Hes smarter. Hulk does not think at all when hes in his mutated form. I'm sure Hulk would do damage to the Punisher up close, but knowing Frank, he'd find a way out fast.
Thats like pitting Batman against Hulk. Again, another smart person. Before Batman would even attempt to fight the Hulk, he'd be in his batcave already figuring a way to transform him back to Frank Banner for good. I'm sure giving his track record, he could figure a way out how to reverse mutate this guy. Batman would come back with a plan to beat The Hulk but not kill him. Just enough to subdue him to get him in reverse mutation treatment. Easy. But we know it wont happen because you'd be destroying The Hulk series.
Gambit Vs. Punisher
Draw. Both are very smart. Gambit has speed and combat skills on his side. Also his deadly cards are very brutal.
Frank Castles strategic smarts from being in the military, and in Vietnam knows how to take apart an enemy real quick. Knows how to fight and is an expert in weapons, and explosives. Pretty much can do what every military branch can do.
Cant see either one winning. They'd probably join together and destroy Uwe Boll

Nice, I told them all Punisher would win.
I also told them Wolverine was overrated.
The best XMan is Gambit. He'd fuck up Wolverine and Spiderman at the same time.
BTW... Mutantanius can you find the comic strip of Gambit whooping Wolverine? I believe its one of the newer ones.

Yea but wolverine coulda easily have blocked the cards with his talon thingies, and just re-healed himself from the staff
