So yesterday I was sittin in front my PC and suddenly google.com stopped working. Along with other google related services like youtube.com, gmail.com, googleads etc. My main PC has wireless internet so I tried my other non-wireless PC and google worked on that. I tried installing few antiviruses and scanned, but nothing has been found. I have a feeling Google banned my mac address for some reason.
Anyone knows what the fuck is going on?

I dont understand why would you want to know the country I live in? What does it have to do with the problem described above?

Country shouldn't matter anyway - have you tried a different browser on that laptop? Pinging google.com?

I tried 3 diffrent browsers. I deleted the contents of the HOSTS file. I dont have firewall or antivirus. Bing works, its my new default search engine. I have WinXPSP2.
btw this has happened before. Last year I think. The issue fixed itself as far as remember. But it took days or a week.

He's from romania, and the issue is caused by your network settings. Contact your ISP.

I also tried to ping microsoft, some local social sites and it said "request timed out" on all. I tried pinging moddb and yahoo, but these sites worked.

Anyone knows a good small and nonintrusive antivirus app to check for viruses? Something like Trojan Remover.

Speaking of accessing certain sites. I can't access virustotal.com for like a year for some reason. Everytime I call those isp assholes they always insist that the problem lies on my side.
