So that's what I got, I wondered if I even got anything at all from him for a while. Smile
(I choose the tempered reward, don't remember ever seeing any tempered leather components though.)

Still the reward armor made up for it and before it the Ban'Ard armor and stuff found by exploring have kept me pretty effective.
(Zerrikanian Saeberr or what they call it from the merchant DLC thing, outclasses even the Arbiter sword, similarly Fate was outclassed by the blue meteorite sword, for some reason sometimes the crafting diagrom shows 29 - 33 or what it was for the others and at other times and the ones you buy it shows 33 -35 which is what I'm currently using, that and six Yrr something runes for 21% damage boost in both swords and three metal steel plates in the armor, not much of a problem with the local dangers, with some exceptions.)

The story and pacing is much better in the first and it's also waaay longer. That said, it doesn't look as good and the combat is different (some really hate it).

The first one is great, i beat it 3 times for the endings, but I always hated Vizima and I always hated fighting a billion drowners and drowned dead.

I loved the prologue/outskirts (despite everyone hating them) and really enjoyed murky waters. The game designers just do a great job of making believable hick-ville backwater villages. Flotsam in #2 is a good example of this too.

Didn't know you could actually die at that sequence, interesting. Smile

EDIT: Some other references and my first actual failed quest (Until I reloaded a earlier save.)

nvidia has (internally) improved SLI scaling, and will contact CDPR to provide tips on improving performance: http://forums.nvidia.com/index.php?showtopic=200558&view=findpost&p=1241161

We've just checked in some changes to the display driver which should provide much better indoor SLI scaling while our developer relations team will contact the makers of The Witcher 2 to provide feedback for other ways to improve the performance indoors.

Why is the dwarven village in Act2 so empty? I'm just starting it, but there's not much going on really.
The prelude to Act2 was a great example of how to introduce a new chapter. Even teh biggest dev houses can learn a lot from this game's design.

Nah, it's just that their Pentium 4 can't run the game.

Actaully, I've read in the forums they haven't done it yet because they were not given a free review copy... cheap bastards, they'll probably give it a low score out of spite for having to spend 40 bucks and actaully buy the game Very Happy Very Happy

Getting a bit closer to the end of chapter 2, anyone recognize the sorceress outfit?
(Some might, also I found those tent decorations funny.)

EDIT: Might as well be clear directly, it's this outfit again.

lol!

"could have learned from assassin's creed!"

wow... assassin's creed combat is so fucking boring. looks cool enough with the counters but you can fight 50 people and still win without a scratch easily.
that guy should just reduce the difficulty if he can't take it.

so that's what the herpderp console gamers are like that everyone is talking about.... everything makes sense now!

Such turds destroyed gaming.

The comparison he made including Assassin's Creed knocked my brain out. This piece of shit needs to die.

he also does the same shit over and over again and never adapts... the fight was hard but come on.. try some different strategies if something doesn't work.

he also never blocks it seems and just complains about the enemies countering his attacks instead.

really he just acts like this is some generic hack&slash game where you can just mash one attack button and dodge occasionally and kill everything with no strategy.

Game so far has 92% on metacritic. Still waiting for the derp sites like GT and IGN to drag it down with their 70% scores.
