have you tried the standard fixes... like setting the date on the xbox correctly, clearing e:\cache and turning off IGR in Evox

this game works fine of dvd and hard drive i burned it with dvd decrypter. this is the best racing game on the xbox so far. i like it alot better than gran turismo 4, but the graphics are better on gt4 other than that the damage is what really makes this game better overall, i'm still going to buy this next week so i can play on xbox live just hope my save game works.
thanks for the great upload been waiting for this one since last year.

I must have unrar'ed this 40 times keep getting random crc errors. Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
did you check the files with sfv program, because r28 is incomplete and you have to repair before you unrar it. check the par 2 file with quick par and repair the incomplete file. hope this helps.

Is it just me or are the cars kinda compressed from the sides? Like they're too thin? Or is this a PAL effect on NTSC box?

If they're random then it might be a problem with bad memory. Check with memtest86 to see if your RAM is fucked.

Also check to see if you have too much dust on your CPU fan. If it gets clogged up and overheats weird things can happen. I just had to clean mine as all games were booting to desktop.

or he just got bad rars from somewhere but more likely machine problem , i would put all the rars on a dvd-wr and try them on a different pc to find whats at fault .
As for framerate, the 360 version runs smooth, while the PS3 is a jaggy mess that chugs along in slow motion.

I tried turning off IGR, clearing E:\cache, but the game doesnt launch.. it freezes immediately on a black screen.
somebody please help me!! I'm getting desperate here! I've been waiting for this game and now it's out everybody can play it except me..

i have the same problem but i had some crc errors while extracting.
i keept broken files and extracted...
par2 files seem not to work for me...everytime it says rar28 incomplete by 39blocks but its complete and repaired and quickpar gives me an veryfication error.
strange....

I looked up "gormless" in the dictionary, it said "without gorm" .... so i looked up "gorm" but it wasn't there ????

There is no csiso release, csiso stopped preing as csiso a long time ago now, some lamer added that csiso tag.
People asking if csiso release is better than nogrp, er... they're the same release retagged by some fool.

I don't mind that it isn't retail, as I can't play on xbox live with the game anyway.

Yes but this rls seems to miss some features. Lemme give some examples why I don´t think it´s retail:
Too many people have problems with it
You cat change color on the aftermarket manufacturer-decals
And one other strange thing with the decals, I first got a set of decals to start with, played for a while, then they were gone and replaced by others. This makes no sense at all.
They said you could set turbo pressure/boost, set ignition timing etc. This is nowhere to be found.
