Imo, the auto drive / assist was because of the difficulty, back then didn't let me choose it, wtf? Now I could choose, and yes on advance is the real shit, and it's pretty damn good Very Happy

If you can't choose the difficulty spam enter or press Home twice, maybe a glitch from that crack...

I'm curios...maybe it was already answered...does it have LAN support like Dirt 2?

I bought the second one - I had a sweet deal on it too - and maybe I'll buy the third but I'm curious to try it with a friend to see if they improved the multi. Would love some multi tier classic rally stages like in the good old Collin McRae Rally days.

No one can beat the felling of a battered out car with busted transmission and suspension while trying to finish the 5th race. I remember blowing up my front tired while speeding 100Mph over the last hill towards the finish line....ahhh....the God old days. Smile

G27 and this arcade game? Seems like overkill and total waste Very Happy Hope you are making good use of that wheel playing sims.

guess the only options remains the removal of gfwl; FLT did it in their bulletstorm release.

I've been getting a lot of iRacing in as of late, nice sim but just requires so much dedication and time, loads of fricking alien drivers who just make me angry!

Not really any other SIM games that i've tried which i really enjoy.. hence something like dirt whilst arcadey might have a bit of fun factor to it specially with some nice ffb....

wheel is getting its use though dont worry Razz

Sounds like what you want is GRID. Dirt 2 is aweful, and it looks like this will be aweful as well. GRID is far from a sim, but at least it does have handling, unlike Dirt 2. If you've never played GRID, I recommend that. Personally Shift and Shift 2 are the best mix, as they fall short of a real sim, but still lightyears ahead of even GRID - sounds like even these might be a bit too time consuming for you, but I still have to recommend them Razz

First Dirt is a different beast from its sequel, Dirt 2 is worse to Dirt 1 than DA2 is to DA:O Wink

sometimes all you want is arcade with fine ffb and fine gfx casue ,to use the g27 for sims, it is realy hard work if you know what i mean you have to be in the mood and you will loose calories for sure, it's very cool, but as i said, sometimes you don't feel like serious drivin' , sometimes you are looking for arcade and with the g27 it's alot of fun.

pika, exactly.. I was driving the Skip barber series in iRacing and whilst its great fun you really have to dedicate a lot of time to really learn each circuit for the upcoming week, no point going into a race on a track which you dont know by heart as you'll just cause chaos on the first corner and ruin the race for other people and totally feck your ratings in the game (iracing is a very serious sim, too serious at times lol)

On the other hand I wanna just play something FUN.

I have downloaded Shift 2 but not really tried it as the performance I was getting was very MEH when it was first released. Dont know if they've bothered to tune it up or anything with patches yet for the PC.

Also rally games are a different kettle of fish to a lot of other driving games out there... G27 really gives you so much info on the track, bumps whether your car is losing traction etc so its great fun to play with... Just want something a bit easier on the mind after a days work LOL....

Practicing for a week and fucking up your first lap or having some dingbat ruin your race because he doesnt know the brake points isnt very good for my stress levels Razz
