I agree and I think that's their plan, at least for now.

The daily deals will be for the unpopular/low quality/cheap games; the weekend/week/holiday deals (the usual ones) will be for the popular/quality/from publishers that can pay lots of money (or agree on some other terms that we don't know of) for promoting their games.

Essentially the daily deals is a new option they provide to small/not so good publishers to promote their games; an option that wasn't there before.

IMO Whirling cane

All 5 Prince of Persia games for $15 / 16 euros. Good deal (but unfair euro pricing).

So they've started upping the prices instead of 1 to 1 conversion now?

Well that's fantastic.

Same prices as before AFAIK. The deal is the sum of the prices of the individual games, minus 75% of that number.

You should have waited till the end of the week IMO. It will probably go cheaper.

Not the first time, I think the Max Payne 2 exe also contained a Myth watermark. Steam quickly released an update that replaced the .exe with a non-watermarked one Smile

Yes and thanks to the "public outcry" now the Steam version uses an outdated version of the exe instead of the latest one (that had bugfixes) because Rockstar couldn't locate an unprotected exe for the latest version after all those years.

There's a reason they (or GOG) are forced to use cracked exes, I wish people would stop making such a big deal about them because in the end it can work against them like it did with MP2.

edit: at least that's what I remember Smile

They were wrong.

It's not as draconian as it originally was. if your connection drops, you'll get a chance to save your game then exit gracefully.

I've never really had a problem with the drm and enjoyed the game for what it was.

Settlers 6 was better Smile
