Nope.
And Saskia is supposed to be a virgin, that's why so many people follow her.

Or Roche. Or Iorweth. Or Zoltan.
CDPR still has a lot to learn from Bioware.

One quick question for someone who finished the game. Without spoiling much, since I didn't finish the game. Spoiler: | What kind of impact does, for example killing or letting King Henselt live? Is it something big or just a minor thing? |

Let me just say this: it's worth checking out the alternative decision.

Alrighty. Guess I'll choose the opposite when I take Iorveths path.

I haven't yet taken Iorveth's path, but something tells me you'll have to decide about someone else, not Henselt at the end of chapt 2.
Also guys, I'm almost done with my insane playthrough. Third try might be the charm! Just started chapter 3 - there's only one encounter I fear, you all know which one it is, one wrong move there ... and poof, 30+ hours out the window!

I asked a friend who took Iorveths path and she said that you also meet Spoiler: | Henselt and have the ability to kill him or not | As for anyone else, I wouldn't know, I'm on Roche's path atm.

300 pages does not mean spoilers are free game ffs.
game hasnt even been out for a month, and its not the kind of game one SHOULD rush through. id say a month or maybe 2 AFTER release ofa g ame like this, spoilers dont need to be worried about... to hell with how many 'pages' its got.

I am waiting for them to fix the 16:10 and sound issues before I even start the Witcher 2 and now it looks like I will have to avoid this thread if it starts getting laced with spoilers. 300 pages is really nothing when like 200 pages were here before the game was even released.

She says

Maybe if you don't want to get spoiled you shouldn't be opening spoiler tags. Would you prefer people just post spoilers without using the tags?

Is it just your choices in-game that carry over from W1 saves, or do you get some gear/gold/skills as well? Still playing the first one atm.

Well, the items don't really transfer - you just get bonus items if you import a save where you had certain gear. The swords you get are slightly better than the default weapons and will soon get replaced and the armour probably won't get replaced until the end of Act 1. You can also miss a quest if you have the imported silver sword.

You get.
Spoiler: |
Raven Armor if you crafted it, third and final armor suit in Witcher 1 and stats depends on if you are neutral, pro-scoia or pro-order - however in Witcher 2 you only get one version and it somewhat resembles the pro-order suit but is rather basic otherwise.
Silver sword and steel sword you had when finishing the game, pretty sure they need to be equipped and not all weapons import correctly though the upper end pure steel and silver weapons should work fine, silver sword Moonblade and steel sword Ard'Ayaene for example to use the two best weapons.
A portion of the gold you had on you, need a lot of it though if you want it to be more than a few hundred Oren's.
Certain choices and references depending on how you tackled certain situations, some books might describe these incorrectly such as one about Adda but the lore part of your journal should have the correct entry and NPC's will also react properly.
(There's a number of these but it's often rather subtle though with some exceptions, keep observing and you'll likely catch a large number of these references.
