Not quite. 3D Realms was the producer for Max Payne, the developer is Remedy (the same guys that made Alan Wake). The third game is still in development hell somewhere.

No one is expecting the world with this. So long as it makes us laugh, and stays some-what true to the Duke3d times, it'll be a worthy play! From the trailers, it definately looks like they've packed fun into it.
It's kinda what the FPS scene is missing these days - a less serious FPS. serious sam, nolf, etc.

When I was 15 I played an awesome game called Duke Nukem 3D. 15 years later, I play Duke Nukem Forever (Well, The demo), and I feel like I have grown up alot, and the people making this game havent. To be 100% honest, from playing the demo, this game is not even worth being in the bargain bin at gamestop.
Yeah, maybe I caught myself chuckly once, or maybe even twice at some of the lame dick and shit jokes. But then I turned around and looked at Duke in the mirror and decided to hit the jump button. What happened next completely disgusted me..... Not even a jump animation could be coded in the game? After 13 years in development, they could do something as simple as make Duke even look like he was jumping?
I know that is a small think to some people, but look at it in this aspect. You pay 60 bucks for a game (or whatever the currency in your country), and the developers decide you arent even worth the couple hours or so it would take to make this game at least try to be something that would come out this generation.
And that isnt even touching on the graphics being so outdated with a small overhaul. Or the fact that the controls are shotty. I have no doubt this game will sell due to nostalgia purposes alone. But will be a smashing hit that people will play and be happy about paying 60 bucks for.... In my opinion, No.

Sadly i also think this game is gonna suck, and no even the nostalgic factor is going to save it.

So since Headshot started this thread can I assume it's safe to ignore until I see an actual [R]?
