You can also try Halo and COD games (not sure if all COD games have coop, I know WaW did). I didn't particularly enjoy those in coop though.

I'm guessing you're talking about local coop so:
-Ultimate Aliance, I think they work with more that just 2 players, up to 4. So that's nice imo, if you want to play with more than 1 friend.
-Fairytale Fights is similar, in that it supports more than 2 players, but I didn't play that much and the game seems kinda bland so try it only if you're out of everything else..
-Blur and Burnout Revenge are good fun, though those are competitive not coop.
Other than that, Gears 2 or Halo Reach in hoard/firefight is just as fun. Especially Gears2 hoard mode, where coop is crucial. Insane diff recommended.
Hunted, DS3 and LotR War in the North seem like they're going to feature some good coop, so keep an eye on those.

Yeah, didn't MW2 had that SpecOps mode that had coop? Not sure...

yeah man I played the whole thing cooperatively and it was awesome.
some of the best coop fun in years.. I hope there's gonna be more of the same soon.

Since you got the PC version you should try to play it online wit ha friend
