Here's a thread dedicated to posting your favorite wallpapers in their full glory. Yeah, whatever, we've had a desktop thread. This one's for the wallpapers.

don't believe so, and scroll is a minor issue as far as I'm concerned...
If you're really worried about it though you could probably use that thumbnail feature Imageshack has, though it's never really bothered me

sure, if you define "enjoyable" as claustrophobic^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H 56k-friendly thumbnails (they don't do the job of getting a wallpaper across, just add the extra step of having to manipulate the images before viewing. That, in my opinion, isn't enjoyable.
I understand that you want to keep this forum as friendly to people with inferior connections as possible in order to maximise your clickbase and userbase... there is nothing wrong with that. But some threads just weren't meant for 9600 baud modems in the hands of 13-year olds with ADS. I see why you're doing this, but I don't agree with doing it. IMHO, the 56k'ers should be welcomed to every part of the forum they technically can, but that should not interfere with the other 96% of NFOrcers.
As for frame freaks, some threads aren't about text. I do believe that a thread titled "Favorite Wallpapers (56k don't bother)" would suggest such a thread. I don't consider the complaint valid or relative, and I'm fairly certain you won't, should you choose to consider the circumstances. Please reconsider the reflex frame servtitude you promote, at least for this thread. Most people will not have issues with frames, and those browsing at 800x600... they deserve it.

It takes like 12 seconds to upload to image shack. if the 56kers think the image looks somewhat cool they will click on it. No need to be difficult about it.

exactly, and image shack gives you all the links you need... and the thread is more readable, 56k or not!
