Fairly certain I've played it on my Win7 machine. Don't have it currently installed, so can't confirm it, but... Yeah.

Edit: Steam Forums thread about getting it to work (or not)

http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1053329

At the price, it's probably worth the risk. Smile

World of Goo is excellent, one of the best games of 2008, top10 easily.

Do you actually like any indie games? Which indie games are great games in you opinion?

I really didn't get the World of Goo hype at all. It was really, really meh for me. Couldn't play it for more than 15 minutes before I fell asleep.

I loved VVVVVV, Super Meat Boy, Lugaru, Beat Hazard, Braid, Minecraft, Terraria, and recently Frozen Synapse though.

Terrarian, Frozen Synapse...even though I suck at it, Zeno Clash, Defense Grid

Ones I like Smile

Thing I like about some indie games is they don't have a good budget, so they have to make the game fun and innovate to catch peopels attention.

Ever play zeno clash? Best melee combat I've ever played with

I've bought dozens of indie games in the last year. Absolutely love indie studios because they're gamers.. making games other gamers want to play. No pressure or bullshit from the publishers to conform to the masses.

+1 but the thing is that there is very few indie game I really like. I hope that some of those studios create 'a bigger' title.

ps. I like Ballance too if we can count it as an indie game.

Change the content server to something like Ukraine, or whatever and try again.

Do you think the Ukraine will have more keys available than South Korea?
I think this is probably a case of the keys being sold out or something
a couple threads on the official forums about it.

[edit] yeah that made no difference

No I thought it might be like the "cannot finish installation" message that appears when the DRM servers are busy, and you can often solve it by changing your region.

I didn't know there was a shortage of keys for this game.

That's the only thing I can guess with that kind of message. I've had no trouble connecting to steam for other games, though I noticed their forums were throwing 503 errors a bit ago

It happens from time to time, not very often fortunatelly, never happened to me and I own ~200 games on Steam. All you can do is wait, it shouldn't take long.

New daily deal is "Power of Defense", 50% off, 5€/$. I for one enjoyed the demo, it's a nice little game albeit waaaay overpriced at 10 €/$.

I'd fork 5$ for it, but not 5€. I'll see if i can get someone from the US buy it for me.
