well it's from symantec so it can only be crap like all of their products. Although they recently bought Powerquest, so all their good products like Deploy Center/Drive Image and Partition Magic bear the name symantec now. Makes me sad to see such an ultra crap company like symantec gaining grounds :/

very good.
keeps track of most viruses and such.
using norton since version 2000 and never had any problems withit. Since allot of ppl saying it slows down the computer, i can say i never experienced it. Seems like those people cant figure a pc/norton right.

Hello, my 2 cents Symantec makes some really decent programs, and i do admit use alot of resources , in this age we all should have a gig of memory or such and know what programs to run , i have been faithful to Symantec since the 90's, i have a great combo on my system Norton internet sec 2005 and microsofts antispyware they work great and with all running with xp pro sp2 about 190pf of my 1 gig used, try it yourself before you decide

if ur system sucks -- its good for no antivirus
if ur system is good , there is no Antivirus which can match the performance of this Symantec AV Corp edition. Just takes for 5-7 seconds more on boot up when u see desktop else U wont even notice it running or consuming any CPU cycles.
No comparison pls with the Norton shit. those who try to say it must be sluggish like norton have never even seen it working im sure.
The Client structure Architecture is superb & is really of corporate standards & need
