I'm genuinely sad that I'll never be able to leave this small planet and fly into space
*well besides that I still need to see more of this one though *

I've heard that Afghanistan and North Korea are great this time of the year
It's true that you're probably never leave this small planet, as for being in space, you're already there!

And that's just our galaxy, in a vast Universe...
Stunning...
I wish I had such beautiful night sky...

I'd like to have a spaceship that is a hundred times faster than light so I can explore the outer space every earth day.

So many places I want to go, other stars, other planets, center of our galaxy, other galaxies, end of the universe, if there is one..

Fuck no, not sure If i'd ever come back. To have the universe at your fingertips..
The only one time I had that feeling, was when my parents gifted me my first car, and the whole country came to my fingertips, simply go where my eyes would look..

You are aware that the Universe is apparently isotropic and homogenous aren't you?
Meaning that the view you see from here is similar to the view you would have from any other point.

Yes, from here I can clearly see the surface of distant planets, or the event horizon of black holes and how they assimilate matter, or the epic collisions between planets/stars/galaxies in details.. hell we can't even see the surface of Saturn..

You can never see the event horizon of a black hole...

You can see the border, and how matter gets absorbed in it.

You can't see the border of a black hole, you can't see the black hole at all. You probably mean the accretion disc.

The event horizon is called such because it is the imaginary line bordering a black hole from which the escape velocity required to break away from it's gravity, exceeds the speed of light, meaning that all light, everything that reaches that point, will only fall inwards into the singularity.
In order for you to see the event horizon of a black hole, light would need to travel from it into your eyes, but since all light that reaches that point will only follow the inwards trajectory, it is in fact impossibly for you to ever see it.
In fact, even if you were falling into a black hole, after you passed through the event horizon (if we ignore the fact that your body should be destroyed by now), you couldn't see anything in front of you, you could see new light falling into the black hole behind you, but never nothing in front of you.

I meant that the light pollution is so high that I can only see familiar constellations.
I've heard that somewhere in the middle of Sahara you can get the most beautiful night sky ^^
Altho visiting Paranal observatory would be wicked also ^^

I'm not contradicting this. I'm just pointing out, that even if you can't actually SEE the fucking black hole, you can see the effects of it's presence..

Have you seen a black hole? There are many suggestions on how it will look:
I just want to go and check it out..
