Nope, doesn't work. Still says "searching for DNF process" I've tried launching in admin mode, tried launching before game, still doesn't work. Shitty program is shitty. Shift-delete. Oh and the contextual button prompts ingame are broken too .. instead of "Press E to kick eye-ball" it's "button.prompt.e.3094720klsdnflsødf.eyeball.fpsdjfpij354.fieldgoal.., æødjfsoidphfæsdfsd"

Well, I use the latest Non beta driver from Nvidia with a GTX560TI and it's cool 
Have you tried setting power management for your GPU to adaptive? |
Where would i do that ?, can't find it in the NVpanel , and in the Power management options in win7 i dont see that setting for the GPU specified (just high/balanced/power save). |
If you use Win7, it should be in your nvidia control panel. Just select Duke Nukem Forever from Program settings and then you will find it, set it to adaptive and that ought to help, but no guarantees.
PS. It's named "Power management mode"
Pps. You can also try and enable V-sync as that will cap your framerate to your monitor's Hrz (usually 60).

It's apparently alright if you can stand a linear action shooter in the same vein of Halo, but with Duke thrown in with a lot of immature jokes and puns.
As long as you don't expect it to be Duke3D 2. |

Sounds like there's a lot of "cool dudes" that hates the game. Me, I find it funny like the old Duke game (lot's of pop culture references) and Old school run and gun gameplay (I miss that). It's not pretty visually, but Imho the same goes for Bioshock...

Well, I played a bit and I like it so far. The only problem that I have with the game is the weapon limit which wasn't annoying so far, but I'm sure it will become annoying once I find more weapons. Other than that, there still are some flaws, but the game is fun.

Yeah found it, saves me 5 degrees , better then nothing, thx. I'll try the latest 275 drivers, use 270.61 now. Tried the vsync already, but apart from a laggy mouse it didn't help with the card running cooler.
