Your previous one (the SCC inspired one) was more appropriate, because Batman is a great game.

TWIN PEAKS is "something of a miracle."
"...like nothing else on television."
"a phenomenon."
"A tangled tale of sex, violence, power, junk food..."
"Like Nothing On Earth"

But then we will tease you, you’ll find a shotgun or something that can be used to explode to take out groups of enemies, and then you have to resist temptation to use these and figure out a way to be a true silent Hitman.

Yeah, I can imagine that: poor 47, forced to sneak past dozens of guards, dress in someone's rags, use rubber duck to kill, disgusted by the whole idea.... stumbles upon on a sexy shotgun - and.... Hail to the King, baby! Laughing

It would have been more acceptable if they would have 'rebooted' the series and not continued the setup from previous games, it's just unfair to fans

- no Kyd
- no Bateson
- no original dev team
- NOT FUCKING INTERESTED

I would be funny if the Max Payne 3 effect would happen here, major backlash would force them to reconsider and rework the game

New interview here

...so you don’t have to sit and watch your surroundings for a very long time in order to figure out what’s going on. If you screw up a little bit by making a loud noise or something, you can actually use your Instinct to see if anyone is alerted to your presence...

I can't believe how similar this looks to my "stolen" interview earlier. Laughing

You can relax, sit peacefully in your chair and watch 47 eliminating his targets. There were a lot of people saying they were frustrated when playing Hitman games, and we wanted to cater to the new audience. There's no longer need for player to be on his toes while planning his assassination, exploring possible routes and ways for assassinate, and be frustrated when NPCs discover him. We really wanted to make it personal this time, and Death Eye™(which we later renamed to Instinct Cool Face) is a perfect tool for that.

Hopefully the sheer number of fans dismissing the decision will force IO to think otherwise. Bateson seems desperate for the role and so are the fans.

I have to see that to believe it. Traditionally danes are set in their ways once they've become convinced it's right.
Like with the Danish government and the border checkpoints they're setting up, eventhough the rest of the EU and indeed most of the international news agencies are making fun of them and question that action, yet they push on. But I digress.

They must be fucking retarded if they really plan to go without Bateson.. Shocked

Hitman without Bateson isn't Hitman for fucks sake. : /

What the crap is this world coming to that all good franchises are destroyed because of the mainstream idiots (derps lol wut) of this world that can't use their brain anymore. Sad

It's really sad.. Sad

Confused
Wasn't it confirmed that Mordin's voice on those gameplay trailers was a place-holder?

That may be, but Michael Beattie hasn't been recast for the role. Same as Bateson.

All we can do is hope (against hope, it would seem) that Bateson and Beattie get phone calls at the last minute in order to reprise their roles... but doesn't it strike anyone as odd that existing VO actors *haven't* already been nailed down months ago? ME3 ships in less than a year.. and same goes for Hitman. Yet with games like Fable 3, Jonathan Ross - and the rest of the cast - announced their reprisals before the game was even ANNOUNCED.

No, something stinks here.

No. Probably Robert Pattinson in an Oscar-winning role for shaving his head (like the Halle Berry Oscar win for showing tits).
