they can see the flares but cant detect the heat of a human body 
we can take satelite photos from space that can tell the difference between a tank and a car they cant even detect a few hundred people
anyway the series was so slow it was like a filler episode  we barely saw any aliens , dont really know anything about them... shit we dont really know much about the people that are left either 
war of the worlds 2 is better than this and thats a low budget heap of shit

Within 50-60 years we will have viruses targeting only certain strings in a DNA. If we're lucky, we'll have faster than light travel, and the energy for it in ... 250-300 years.
But you can substitute any weapon with the biological, that I said, with a weapon of mass destruction, that doesn't hurt the atmosphere or the infrastructure.

Creating a virus that specialized is not as easy as you seem to think. Such an effective virus can easily backfire the moment you step on the planet. And that's only one of the many problems.

The show seems a bit weak at the moment i hope it will improve, this sounds a bit more like civil war vs aliens.

This obviously isn't for you. It's not the instant-action, know everything in the first ten minutes, blow everything up, shootathon that you're hoping for. Neither was The Walking Dead - another series you consider to be "dull" and "boring" and "slow" and "not enough zombie killing"
These obviously aren't the sort of shows you enjoy.

It's okay, nothing more. Worth the watch I guess, but it's not very impressive. The aliens are nice and the CGI is good enough. I see a lot of bullshit drama in the near future. We already have the teenage love triangle, teh bitchy little kid and the teen who's gonna fuck up everything.

gonna watch it tonight, after some starcraft matches, just to warm up.
i usually like space movies, but not the series. liked the 24 show, it was on my highest standard (the first 2 seasons), game of thrones, was the best tv show ever made, besides friends and the most seasons of the simpsons and the first season of nip-tuck.
so... i don't expect much... i don't expect my life to be changed by the great truth S. Spielberg is telling us...
i expect to have a nice and stady night, watching a reasonable good tv show.
and would be good to have something to download in this crappy time, were every game is worse than the other.
