4 hours x 2 players = 8 hours gameplay, see? |
Makes sense to me.

Prove me wrong. They were at least 6-7 hours, from what I recall.

With a little luck, the multiplayer might not suck.

Graphics from 2003 and a 4 hour long campaign, the perfect recipe to create a successful first person shooter these days

Oh, I dunno, man, I can't recall motion blur in any game in 2003.
Also, the reticle changes colors when you hover over an enemy. HOW IS THAT NOT INNOVATIVE?!

Not the best title Monolith has released, Fear franchise might be pretty dead with this but it got kinda dragged out with that earlier split from their old publisher and that, I suppose it might still be a enjoyable co-op FPS but the console owners paying full price for it might feel a bit disappointed.
(PC version sells for 20 - 25 or so GBP I think, differs in various regions but it's not full priced at least.)
Perhaps time to start with something different or a older franchise again, Blood 3 perhaps.
(NOLF and Shogo wouldn't feel right if handled like this after all, haha.)

The main developer is Day 1 Studios. Monolith is probably just providing assets and some other small stuff.

Blood, Shogo, NOLF...those were all brilliant games with proper longevity and game mechanics, full of creativity and interesting ideas I wouldn't want them to butcher these legendary titles with poor sequels as usually happens

I wanted to buy this. But when I saw a 4 hour long campaign, no thanks. Maybe I'd get it on a sale for like 5-10 bucks, just fo co-op modes and shit, but otherwise not worth the price.

Is the PC version out? The only retail copies I know of are 360/PS3.

It's a 4 hour game (including cutscenes I guess..) and it has a good and an evil ending
I wish I'll be proven wrong but for the moment "RIP F.E.A.R. franchise" is the only thought that comes in my mind. |

Each interval has a target time, which sadly is about 20-30 mins usually. I took my time exploring on the 360 so I think I capped about 5+ hours.
It's not totally bad game, but very generic. Even in the weapon department...
