Just completed interval 2. Have had no issues so far. I really like the game. Shame it's so short.

Tried to play Interval 2 and the game told me that the storage device containing the downloadable content has been removed. I'll just wait for the scene release. Hopefully I can transfer my save so I don't have to replay that prison level one more damn time.

Played up to interval 4. This game so far has not been a patch on either of the 2 previous games. Interval 2 was just horrible. I had shitloads more fun with DNF than i've had with this so far.

The game's a real disappointment. Can even say it borders with sodden shittiness. Maybe even the worst of the series.

The scary parts are so forced. The firefights are worse then FEAR 1, but that's mostly because of the lack of atmospheric object breakdown and spectacular rag-dolls, like FEAR 2. It's the worst FEAR yet.

Looks like I made an understatement in my previous post (6GB). |
I'll download all 3 versions and report my findings. |
360 ISO downloaded.
Actual size: 6GB
Compared to the PC ("beta"/preview, I don't have the final but I assume it's the same) the biggest difference is that the 360 ISO contains a folder called "FastLoads" that weighs 2.33GB
My PS3 download is incomplete but I can see that it also contains this folder, which is completely absent from the PC (beta).
I guess it's something that isn't need on PC, perhaps some kind of cache/index/whatever for "fast loading" on consoles, but there's no need for it on the PC and has been omitted.

I canceled my PS3 download because I can see from the partially downloaded files that more than 4GB are dedicated to this FastLoad folder. Therefore mystery solved.

They are probably files needed for the streaming from DVD & BD.

Yup. The filenames were completely nonsensical like asjkhj34erklghjgh7823y4jk34esbwe so perhaps the names are the hashes of the files.. and that kind of naming it makes me think of caching/indexing/streaming mechanisms.

God, they fucked the Fettel aspect. Last October, when I was at a conference for work, devs showed us F3AR and I asked only one question.
"if Fettel possesses someone, do they instantly know it's you?"... and he fobbed me off and continued blamming away.
Finally playing as Fettel, i see that it's practically identical save for a switch or 2, to the other fellow AND despite being a spirit/possessy kind of thing...they can see, and harm you and know when you're one of them.
Worse yet, you don't get ejected from a body when it dies......you die.
I was really hoping for something similar to Geist on Gamecube. Disappointing.
Actually, Messiah is probably a better example of possession gameplay, but Geist was essentially an FPS, so i thought it made a much more worthy comparison.

Is there a way to enable the blood and gore? Is it because of the crack?

Like someone mentioned before, there is a visible jerkiness, like it's skipping frames in some areas, even though with vsync enabled it stays capped at 60, and with it off it jumps to the 90s and doesn't have frame drops at all to justify the jerkiness.
Aka, even at 90 fps if i move the controller/mouse slowly i can see it not being smooth at all, skipping frames.
