I saw a fixed exe from die (see scrapland) but not the game.May be we have a release soon from die.
How many cds is the game (or it is dvd)?
As for fixed exe probably is the trick with files from demo.......

its not realy from DIE , its just the demo exe it was mistakenly released without starforce . but they say it works

just get the game from somewhere and use the demo files @ gcw, works

Have'nt been released in denmark either, last i heard where that it where pushed back in denmark to the 29th of may.

k, rel in usa 5-5-05, i finished the game 1 month ago so it was in stores here

I see it was released in us a couple days ago. I wonder if the extra time for releasing was so they could keep it from being used with the unprotected demo exe and dlls.

It's only the crack on gcw, you have to find the actual game yourself on emule(or find a site with a emule link to the files)

MAybe i'm just dumb... but:
You've got the retail (=protected) files and the demo (=unprotected) files.
Isn't there a way to figure out how it's protected, so you can compare the files, so you can experiment removing the crack?
Or am i just a simple non-cracker...

StillLife.exe -148kb ...i click properties/version..and there isnt a word "demo"
..I have the demo files too..it's different

listen... is finished the game with the demo files so it works from the beginning till the end... full stop |
I know, but can't crackers use the information you get when camparing the EXE's, so they can crack other starforce games with it?
Nope not complaining bout Still Life, it's working like a dream!
Guess I've said it wrong, but i meant cracking other gamez

You sure you have the first demo that was removed from websites only a few hours after its release ? Because if you have the second demo files, they're protected with SF3 and the difference in filesize is normal
