this must be one of most "retarded" comments on the Internet, every year is the same plenty of big/good games coming out. that still doesn't change the fact that only 5-10 of them are good, and nowhere near enough to keep you busy for whole year.. |
Name a couple of games from 2010 reaching the quality of Witcher 2 and potentially Deus Ex 3.

do i need to make another remark towards retarded?
witcher 2 is already released and not " coming " witcher2 is a game not games
all of us have different games we enjoy
i can drop random name here, like starcraft 2 , particularly i found both sc2 and witcher 2 lacking soul inside of them, but both of them are quality games

Are you trying to be a retard yourself or do you really not understand? Of course I count in Witcher 2 since it's released in 2011. Since you yourself say "all of us have different games we enjoy" your whole bitching is irrelevant since I, so me, think this year is particularly good for PC games.

So I was looking for a certain thing and ended up via Google on a middle eastern Warez board and anyway it seems 3D released the beta of this.

# Might & Magic Heroes VI - Internal Private Closed Beta
#
# 06/2011 :..... RELEASE.DATE .. PROTECTION .......: DRM
# 1 :.......... DISC(S) .. GAME.TYPE ........: SLG
#
# RELEASE NOTE
#
# As a game series grows older and older, and as new game
# genres and mechanics emerge and become the standard, it
# can be difficult for a seasoned franchise to keep up
# without the risk of alienating their fan base.
# Developers need to strike a balance between staying
# faithful to what drew players to a game in the first place,
# and what new players expect from a modern game. It's a
# conundrum that Hungarian developer Black Hole Entertainment
# is currently wrestling with the development of Might and
# Magic: Heroes VI.
#
# INSTALL NOTES
#
# 1. Unrar.
# 2. Burn or mount the image.
# 3. Install the game.
# 4. Check the /3DM dir on the DVD.
# 5. Play the game.
# 6. Support the software developers. If you like this game, BUY IT!
|
EDIT: 3DM not 3D.
EDIT: Oh right it's called "HMM 6.part1" to "HMM 6.Part5" I think.
(Sometimes people ask about file names or release name, this being a not so official group means they use a non-standard naming scheme so it gets a bit messy.)

jDownloader, mate. It's awesome, basically a multi-client downloader that monitors links and adds them to a download queue. I would STRONGLY recommend checking it out =)

I was able to start the skirmish map, but the textures loaded for about a minute so I gave up. It's probably my old PC's fault.

Triggers likely or other flaws in the "crack" (Netshow) it consists of only one file called "ubiorbitapi_r2_loader.dll" so yeah it's "that" protection most likely though we'll see.

Maybe only this closed beta will have ubidrmshitfucker protection.I'm installing 3dm version but as i see it will be pointless.NETSHOW nuked himself the crack he uploaded.

Might as well just wait two more days for the public beta instead.

Wouldn't that also need to be cracked, beta access seems to be solely by pre-order from either Ubisoft directly or Steam. (Edition doesn't matter.)

The only bad thing is it's written in Java ( ) and is therefore awfully slow, especially to start up, and a real resource hog. |
Yeah, my java got messed up, which in turn messed up my JDownloader, and I had to uninstall it.
But I use IDM for other links, works just fine ^^

I don't know if I'm missing something here... but how do you even LOAD the game? I replaced the orbitloader file, yet the game still asks me to sign in and enter a valid key.

What happens if you just enter anything?
EDIT: Aha, well perhaps there's something else, haven't tested the game yet myself.
