I bought it a couple of days ago in russia, and it's a really nice game. Even tough it has some strange bugs, i still find it to be a really interesting game. The canon is usless, for some reason i never manage to kill with it.I don't give a shit about reviews, i enjoy it.

I bought the game on Saturday. The game is not the same as original Cossacks. Instead of microing the economy, you micro your armies. The one most annoying thing I found in Cossacks and American Conquest was how your formation would go out of line! Basically you would have a few of your troops leave the formation to take a shot at someone.
Not anymroe in Cossacks 2. Your troops stay in rank and a few nice things like you can tell only the first line to try to draw enemy to you hehe =]
The game feels like a Real Time Wargame =]
Few things that bug me... game came with a pretty shiatty editor which is somewhat buggy. There isnt alot of maps. There is no longer a random map generator. I miss them humongous maps from American Conquest. The movies are kinda crappy though at least they tried.
Other then that, the game is very nice. I'd give it a happy 8.3/10

dont install the official patch yet. Wait for the 2nd one because the patch even though it fixes few things, it breaks alot more.
BTW, I'm really enjoying this game (I bought it). The game shouldnt use the name Cossacks 2 because it isnt really a sequel. Think of it as a Real Time Wargame rather then your RTS type of game.
I give it a 8.2 / 10 =]

Hang on - The reviews are good - many people in this thread have said it is good and yet you say it looks like crap - tell me if it is worth downloading. You've ignored everyone to this point - why change now.
It's obviuolsy not your thing - move along.

Why do you judge a strategy game by it's looks? One of the best strategy games ever, Harpoon, did not have any looks at all, yet it was great...

I didnt say the graphics where utter crap... I like strategy games, they are one of the best genre IMHO. But just how the game is, is it good etc.

I still have one doubt, cause i didn't played the clone version of Second Sight, we have to do the step 2 of the info everytime we run the game? I mean we have to install the patch and so on?Can we burn the cds and then mount, or we can't burn them?
