This game rocks !!!
Out of curiosity, how is PhysX handled for non-Nvidia users ? Done in software or just missing objects and effects ?
I'm a little after that frog you "wake" by hitting that gong. How much more is there ? The thing at the main menu shows 2 "keys" in the completed chapters section, there are 4 more, wtf ?

Extra content is usually always welcome, but in this case I think the game was a little too long anyway. If anything, a bit of the fat could have been trimmed, since some sections just dragged on a little too long. Still, brilliant game and some of the best art direction i've seen in years.

The initial part of it looks a bit so-so but once the environment changes it will look better.
(And then worse, quality is a bit inconsistent in some areas of the game.)
EDIT: The areas do have various artistic styles though like ink based paintings, jade crystals and paper and porcelain and such also.

"a bit so-so" is an understatement. The beginning of the level looks just downright hideous. The water really looks like its from a game released 10 years ago

Well I have to agree there also, it's a bit rough compared to modern render techniques, I don't know the specifics but it's not using any advanced or fancy shading or similar to try and simplify it a bit.
(Likely for performance reasons and UE3 still has some rough areas due to it's long development cycle, not entirely unlike some other engines like Gamebryo before their financial issues or say Source to name but two.)

I doubt its for performance reasons. The levels looked beyond gorgeous up until this point. The first time youre in wonderland, the water looks so fluid and nice. Now it just looks like blue water-like texture painted on a moving platform. If the whole game was like this, then Id understand

The game does not hold interest here sadly. It does not improve and it stays simplistic.

I thought it was the visual style they've chosen for the level.

Good to know, that it did somewhat well despite not being in the top 10.
As for Shadows of the Damned it probably means there won't be a late PC port of it. Oh well.

Actual numbers are not looking good though.

PC, PS3, 360 US sold retail units were <120K
Sure it outsold Shadows of the Damned nearly 5:1 but debuting with <120K units (and surely the following months it's going to do even worse) it'll take a long time to reach 1M, if ever?, and if it does it'll likely be thanks to $10 Steam sales.
Still for a game with close to 0 marketing (thanks EA ) that plays very differently to most games out there, 1M won't be that bad.
Also since the developers are in China, I don't exactly know how big Chinese salaries & budgets are compared to US ones, 1M again might be ok.

If you already have an Origin account, you won't be able to register the game by using your Origin account credentials outside of Origin.
So, if the e-mail address you want to use is binded to your Origin account, you won't be able to register the game using the game's launcher. It will always say the e-mail address is already taken.
Or, at least, that happened to me.
