The game now runs like shit with almost no visual difference and a ton of new graphical glitches - achieved with CryEngine 3!

pakko, I have the same card 580, but it gives me green dots all over the screen after 10mins of gameplay then the game crashes,
it works fine with DX11 disabled,
I tested the card in all games including metroo DX11 and it runs fine.
Help guys ?

check temps.. i had dx11 crashes on da2 like u have now with crysis, i gave just +tick of core power with afterburner and no more crashes, maybe your card need to be fed with more power but keep checking temps!

So, how do I proceed? I download Crysis 2, download Crysis.2.v1.9.Update.incl.DX11.Ultra.and.HiRes.Texture.Packs and that's it?

i just checked it and it is a faulty crack ... the license that gets genrated has wrong obfuscated entries ... and this leads to a crash inside the vm ...
its easy to prove just set a breakpoint on the static entries inside the shitrow license and then load a game .... and shitrow wants to make you believe its not thier problem ...
i think they were just to lazy to log the operations by hand for the missing license items. as doing this by hand takes alot of time ...

reverting back to 1.8 glad i backed up the whole Crysis 2 folder before i updated
DX11 is nice but its not that nice and certainly not worth the save bug

Shame one each and every one of you! Coming here with your sense of entitlement, demanding performance, actual graphics improvements for the lowered performance, a game actually working... So many crying about saving and loading not working... Aren't you the PC master race? Aren't you superior with your mouse and keyboard? What the fuck you need saving and loading? Admit it, you are just looking for reasons to complain and bitch, because Crysis 2 is not a PC exclusive game. Jizz, I wonder why.

everything on Ultra, runs better than dx9 did for me lol... Looks pretty good... I am assuming the game likes rather new vid cards based on what I am reading. Anything older than the 6800 series or the 580 series have issues, and new cpus also... Otherwise I hear a lot of prolems. I played the 1st level, haven't gone any further
2600k, GigaByte R9 290x, 8 gis of ram on Windows 7 X64
