Yeah, it finally finished after taking about 5x longer than it should have. The patch for me was 266.6MB and is at version 1.4.0.525 now.

anyone tried New Vegas with 3D Vision ? I am replaying Fallout 3 in 3D and it's purely amazing, atmosphere is well managed with stereoscopic effects, for example the place in front of Arlington Library seems to be so so big, well done. Will try with the next DLC.

absolutely amazing, believe me. 3D does NOT add any gameplay content, so a shitty game will be always shitty, but the "atmospheric experience" (feeling of the atmosphere in a game) will be increased greatly. For example, in VAT mode, you will see ennemies be killed and their head fly away, while feeling to be just beside them. Or, in the game Timeshift, you feel it is just raining right on your screen. The only bad thing about Fallout 3 in 3D, is all is too dark, you have to raise up the game brightness (cause of glasses).

but of course, this technology is not necessary to enjoy Fallout 3, which is a great game.

Is there a way to play my original Steam FNV with cracked DLCs?
I'd usually just pirate away, but the patch isn't cracked yet and it looks big enough to be necessary.

The DLCs are not protected. You just dump them into the data folder. I have downloaded versions of Dead Money and Honest Hearts on my original Steam install.
All works fine.

So for someone who has never done 3D, what kind of glasses do you need to get for this? What cards support it? will a 460GTX support it?

better get one 3D Vision kit. It is active and wireless glasses, very light and nice too. About configuration, I've a 22" LCD (120 HZ) with one single 450GTS and all games work like they should with 3D Vision, only Avatar had some glitches sometimes, cause of the CPU bottleneck. However, 3D Vision kit should cost near 200 US$, it's not so cheap, huh.

Apparently only $149 and includes free duke nukem forever..
not sure if I can find this in Korea or not..
they're here..a little bit more..maybe around $170
but I'm not sure if it includes the free duke nukem forever...that should be worth the extra $20..

If you have the red-blue glasses and want to try the cheap 3-d, it's already built into the driver. Just go into nvidia's control panel and turn it on.

right, it's called "3D Discover" I think. You can always buy one pair separately. But tell you what, prepare to have severe headaches with games...^^"

Do the glasses that nvidia sells fit over regular glasses? Are they big like the pairs you get at the movie theatres?

Fallout 3 has a launcher, didn't need to be cracked for every version. Is it different in FNV ?

almost the same size than glasses you use for 3D movies in theaters, but like they have a "nose fit", you will not feel any disconfort on your nose, however you will have to get used with your ears, that's a minor problem indeed. More, you can adjust the "depth" of 3D effects through the IR receptor or using the Nvidia control panel, so if you feel sick, just lower settings and that's it. For example, I use 50% of depth for many games, while I had to use 40% only for Lego Pirates (cause of convergence). Can play for one hour or more without any disconfort at all.
