if mozilla had official 64 bit releases of FF i would give it a go, but there are versions out for IE and even linux.

wondered how much faster they are and if its stable.

installed the 64bit version for IE 64bit, seems to work fine, dont know if there are any speed increases coming from FF7 32bit.

also installed 32bit beta for FF7, works flawlessly.

noticed though that hardware accelleration is turned off in flash, which seems to be a common bug or "feature", which i dont mind since i hate all the filters hardware accel gives so i prefer software for flash and HD movies in general. But there are people i build an E350 brazos setup for assuming that it hardware accel would work.

While checking youtube looks like flash is still sucking for linux, even if they also got 64bit now, which makes me reluctant to install linux on internet browsing boxes for older ppl.

Flash 11 will perhaps be the most advanced Flash plug-in to date, with an interface called Molehill which enables hardware-accelerated 3D and 2D graphics. Although it might not be enough to either please Apple or Microsoft, both of whom have kept their hands off the plug-in, but it’ll still do a lot considering it’ll enabled for much for powerful video-games to be developed for web-browsers and one of the Flash’s forte is web-based games.
