its totally fuked for me.
the freezing has got more and more frequent since i started it, not I can sometimes play for 10 seconds, sometimes a few minutes, but no more than 5 mins before a freeze, usually its right away.
fuked, even for an alpha its a disgrace.

Do you have an nvidia card?
I've read this, supposedly from DICE:
Quote: | 275.39 are internal driver for us that contain fixes for BF3 to prevent the crashes, we thought these fixes were included in 275.50 but unfortunately weren't, hence all the crashes people are seeing. The workaround in the thread FatalRequiem posted should work, though is a bit cumbersome. |
Quote: | The next public Nvidia driver will contain the proper SLI profile for bf3.exe |
Later today nvidia is going to release a new beta driver.
Also:
Quote: | @FloMaetschke we support both on PC, but MSAA with deferred shading is very heavy |
He's talking about MSAA and a post-processing filter like MLAA, FXAA.
Quote: | @AlanDreher yes we support that! both attack different parts of the aliasing problem, so good complement to each other |

Same.
It's not fair, dammit.
If I don't get in I'll have to wait until sometime in September to try it out. |
I'd like to partecipate too, but as long as the beta will be open to everyone I don't see it as a big problem; just have patience and play BC2 in the meantime

I do agree that they should've handled the invites differently. Selective invites for Alpha, open to everyone for Beta. Kinda dumb this way.

Since you found what he's referring to, post a link to help the others.
And how should they know a driver called 275.50 would not include the bug fixes of a driver called 275.39?? It's nvidia's fault.
