Maybe it's just me, but graphics seem a bit better than before
I mean the coloring / contrast

I made the comparison with screencaps from youtube so the quality isn't that great but you get the idea.

The quality of the second video wasn't that great.
Maybe I'll do a proper comparison tomorrow after I download the HD trailers.

Not really, no. Just curious if this was another "afterthought" or if it was implemented along the lines of development prior to going gold. They've been good to the PC crowd so far with our requests. It wouldn't surprise me if they did have it within the gold master. I really like this particular studio/dev team.
@consolitis Awesome comparisons.

First review sounds good (even though it's from the same guys who rated DA2 94/100 )
Quote: | PC Gamer’s gone and done the world’s first review of Deus Ex: Human Revolution. The review is fully of praise for the Eidos Montreal reboot in the new issue, currently on its way to subs, giving it a 94 percent. For reference sake, the original got a 95 percent, while Invisible War was given an 83 percent.
“A dark, cool and beautiful revival of an incredible game,” writes reviewer Tom Francis of Human Revolution. “Smart, substantial, funny, creative and endlessly entertaining.” |

We "need" it to get great scores (it might sell more, the investors will be happy to uh invest in a sequel, EM will become a high profile developer, other developers might want to make similar games (let's hope Dishonored does great as well) etc)
BUT. We need these 90+% reviews from console focused sites, magazines etc.
I didn't expect any less from PC Gamer, but I don't know what to expect from IGN, Edge, ...
Obviously it will get 80+% but how much higher than that...?

I understand that, I wasn't (necessarily) responding to you, just making a remark

I think even IGN will give it 90+, they rarely dare give scores, that are unpopular, and judging from the leak feedback, the crowd effing loves this game.

Isn't it PCGamer UK that gave that score to Deus Ex? While the American one is a bit more liberal with its score.
I believe the last time PCGamer UK gave that high of a score, it was HL2.

As I said it's the console focused press I am worried about.
Official Playstation Magazine: 8/10
http://www.computerandvideogames.com/313581/deus-ex-human-revolution-ps3-review-8/10-in-opm/
Quote: | "It's not as direct as a sci-fi COD, nor as expansive or open as Fallout," he writes. "Instead it's somewhere in the middle."
OPM concludes that the game does the Deus Ex series "proud" - "providing an absorbing world to investigate and a satisfying freedom to play by your own rules".
Slight gripes come when discussing background characters "cycling routines", frustrating boss fights and long loading screens that "break the mood".
Overall, though, the PS3 Deus Ex: Human Revolution review gives the two thumbs up. The game's described as having a plot that's "basically James Bond of the future" in a world with "lush art direction".
Hurley writes: "It doesn't reach Killzone 3 levels of splendour, but it's impossible not to be wowed by the neon-drenched presence of Hangsha in China." |
TWIN PEAKS is "something of a miracle."
"...like nothing else on television."

More from PCG:
Human Revolution “is absolutely the Deus Ex of our age, a genuinely worthy prequel, and a game that puts almost everything else in the genre to shame.”
The mag - which is with subscribers today - concedes that it's not quite as good as the original because thanks to a "slight shift away from improvisation and wide open spaces", which stops it "just short."
