Then you should have been there on the official forum just when the game was released. Every second post was from people complaining about the same stuff I'm complaining about (add "stupid ending" to the above list, and you have a list of most complaints)

Come on, stupid ending? Can you honestly say the ending was bad?

50% of the people who posted there did not agree with you

50% of people are trolls, and probably didnt even play the game. The ending was good.

The only obvious thing you can point out, is that all my points are correct. What I wrote are facts, of course it's then up to every man for himself to decide whether they like those facts or not (e.g. for a person who doesn't like puzzles, he would put the lack of puzzles in the pro section instead of in the con section where I put it)

Umm, this would require too much wall of texting on my part, dont feel like writing it.

Then you're lucky. For an adventure game, this shows exactly what I don't want

Well, i really dont see what would please you. I thought every moment of the game was epic, culminating with the opened doll house at the end.

I really tried to like it, but it was an impossible task. The only reason I finished the game, was to see if it was true what they were talking about. A lot of people has posted that the ending was one of the worst endings seen in an adventure game, I had to see it for myself

I really cant see how you failed to like the game. But meh, whatever. I dont know if we're trolling or being offtopic right about now. Im guessing both, so im hoping i wont have to read a novel when i check this thread again <_<

indigo prophecy was 2 gigabytes of starforce protected awfulness. totally gay game

the first 15 minutes were well made I guess

Fahrenheit was protected by Tages and Indigo prophecy was protected by securom 7, both were cracked so quit complaining, granted the European version wasn't cracked until a little bit later but still the clone of it was easily playable at its time of release, no real fancy tricks.

Also there was no gay sex of any kind was going on in the game, the only kind was between 2 consenting adults (female and male) so maybe your a bit confused about sex? and what constitutes as gay and normal sex?

Yours Sincerely,

It had me completely enthralled for 2 days of near constant play; just couldnt stop. Story, gameplay, characters, atmosphere, it really was awesome. It is very similar to Broken Sword gameplay, but more adult themed (and in places, very gorey). Highly recommended. (although admittedly I was dissapointed with the somewhat 'make up your own mind' ending)

I was also disappointed in with the ending, because it draws no conclusions at all. I actually just found out when in the process of updating my new list that a sequel has been announced, Still Life 2, coming this year. I also found out that Postmortem is the prequel to Still Life (which I didn't know, and haven't played yet).

Upcoming PC games 2009 and onwards

Don't worry, this will be the last post about this. I'm tired of talking to people like you who can't see it from both sides
I'm not trolling, I'm just posting my opinion, but it's clear that you're one of those who hates everybody else' opinion if they don't match your own

Just finished Fahrenheit and decided to resurrect this old thread for a moment.

I originally gave up on the title due to the control scheme and all the negative comments that were going on about the game.

I have to say that it was a bad decision. I gave the game another whirl with my newly acquired gaming pad and boy was I positively surprised. So for all the people who skipped the title due to the complaints, give it another go. Turning down difficulty, grabbing a gaming pad and switching over to mouse where necessary pretty much eliminates the difficulties with the "action sequences".

The story and the characters are pretty much pure gold, and definitely beat any of the recent releases. Too bad that Heavy Rain and Omikron 2 are both to be released on consoles Sad

Or 2006. The article mentions that year. Don't know why 2005 was stuck in my head.

Well I LOVED Dreamfall. I thought Zoe was awesome, aand I didn't find anything remotely "stupid" about the ending. It was a typical cliffhanger, and Ragnar Tornquist has already said that a Dreamfall 2 will be in the works as soon as The Secret World ships!!! Very Happy
