I accidentally stumbled upon the new set pictures "thanks" to imdb deciding to put them on the front page and I must say that Bane looks freaking awesome. Judging by the pictures he is just a buffed up soldier with a mask. Seems like Nolan made the right choices with this script as well, no venom or lazarus pit bullshit.

Actually that right there is what I think is wrong with this Bane so far.
Buffed up?
In every shot I've seen so far he seems to have the exact same size as Batman (yeah, Batman has the suit/armor on, but still...), and I'm sure they could find someone bigger to play that role.
That or they'll most likely add some effects later on.

He will be enlarged during post-production when they start up adding the various visual effects. The shots you've seen so far are the unaltered ones from the filming set.

superman was cool cause as clark kent he acted like a pussy and as superman he was a hero. It was so hard for people to figure it out cause whenever danger struck, clark would always hide no disappear. he was a pussy.

I see the new picture of Hathaway gets a lot of bad comments on the internet, mainly the looks and stuff. But as the picture is labeled "Selina Kyle", maybe that's not her cat-woman outfit? Besides I don't think Burtons cat-woman suit would fit Nolans universe. I just get the feeling we'll see the thief Selina Kyle for most of the movie, and maybe she cats-up later in the end.
All speculations apart I have faith in Nolan, he did make a wonderful job with Heath as the joker (even though I think it got slightly over-hyped). I was very skeptical in the beginning with Heath but Nolan proved he knows his stuff. I think he can do wonders with Hathaway too, even though it seem like a very odd choice.

she's a burglar, a profession where you're meant to stay hidden
batman is out in the open so actively hiding identity is a priority
the outfit is perfectly fitting to me
though, having long hair would be troublesome in a fight

Wouldn't Dark Knight Rising be better? Rises does not sound appealing at all.
