8gb 1600
2 6970 crossfire
?? Ssd harddrive (not sure on the size yet)

Any suggestions or anything I should add?

Be prepared for issues with Crossfire (or SLI for that matter). Multi-GPU setups cause a lot of grief for their owners.

what 'chew want it for?

the feedback i got from here was that a 2500k is more that sufficient, not just in performance but also cost and so thats what i got, and im more than happy with it. can use the money you save on it and grab an extra 2tb hdd or something.

2500K will be plenty, and only go for CFX or SLI if you don't mind running the risk that you might need to run some games on a single GPU Smile

Was also thinking of getting the 2 6950s instead of 6970s not sure. If my wife allows it I may even grab 2 580 1.5gb superclocked. Anyone had any experience with any of these cards in SLI or CFX?
