I watched some macross OVAs as a kid and I was in way over my head. lol
thanks for reminding me..gotta check this out again.
for now I'm busy with Legend of Galactic Heroes though which I can recommend!

I decided to watch SDF Macross after re-watching Macross Frontier recently and gawd, its hard to get used to the uh....quality animation of its time.

They are always SO OVER THE TOP regarding EVERYTHING, music animation VOICE ACTING story etc etc
i tried watching Naruto and a few others, full metal jacket or smthng but meh
Maybe you could recommend me something ?

do it NOW and don't read anything about it because the plot twists are the best part..

pff you can count the scenes like that in death note on one hand.
usually anime is full of that but in death note it's rare and deliberate.
I recommend death note with his dislikes in mind.

finnished this last weekend with the macross saga. absolutely a must watch. i even *faped* with some episodes.
 Spoiler: | for the ones that are watching it, i strongly recommend the watch of "Robotech II The Sentinels" after finishing the first season. It explains a lot in between the first war and the second war (there are a time from aprox. 15 years between the destruction of the SDF-1 and SDF-2 and the coming of the Robotech Masters to earth. They also show the marriage between Rick Hunter and Lisa. Also, it shows the Invid invasion and destruction of the Master's planet, while they're coming to Earth, and while Terran Forces go with the SDF-3 and the main forces, to the Master's planet to bring war there instead earth. |
started to watch the second season "The Masters", which isn't as great so far as the first one, but still enjoyable. The main story is epic thou...
im becoming a robotech fan boy
