I've read on GameSpot.com the PS3's processing power equals 2TFLOP, which is twice as much as Xbox360's.
The design is great, the PS3 perfectly fits next to your HDTV

The PS3 will cost a fortune I'm afraid, the 'RSX' graphics chip is more powerful than two GF6800 Ultras in SLI mode, and those two cost more than €1000 
Unfortunately, the trees in that new Gran Turismo game still look like four pieces of cardboard glued together, just like on the PSone

Oh well, Ps3 is coming out Spring 2006 so it is all xbox 360 for this year and and early 2006. I hope it is Early Spring 2006 not late spring 2006.

Killzone looks simply amazing! To see this is to give me hope for the future of gaming, it's really improving rapidly in an immersive sense. I fear it won't be anything other than a futuristic up to date, linear, scripted call of duty/medal of honour - but nonetheless I can't wait.
Was that mobile gundamn wing (?) footage actual ingame or rendered? Because that was even more amazing.

i wasn't impressed with GT5 either. looked the same as GT4 for me.
but KILLZONE, Heavenly Sword, that new game from ubisoft and motorstorm........HOLY CRAP!!! PS3 is gonna own

That'll be a relief, I hope Sony can ditch the cardboard trees and crowd in a GT game with the almighty PS3 hardware

The trees don't look that bad, I'd prefer to have those realistic looking trees that aren't an eyesore as opposed to utterly realistic looking trees which have to be placed ALL OVER and as a result bring the framerates skyrocketing downwards and force the devs to cutback elsewhere.
Lets be fair.

Eh no?
Read my posts on this forum and you will see that I'm far from a fanboy of any system. A game is amazing on it's own, not because it's on a specifik console. I'm so sick of being called a fanboy when it's so clear that I'm not.
So really, stop it once and for all please.
About FF7, no they are not remaking it, it was just a ps3 tech demo to show off what FF7 would look like on the ps3, nothing else.
Maybe they will do something in the future, but the official words are that it's a simple tech demo.
