You can go through the game without killing anyone EXCEPT the bosses. Those you have to kill.
Does anyone know what happens if you don't go see Pritchard to fix your retinal augmentation and just go to the mission? Is that even possible? If it is, what are the consequences/dialogue changes?

Why is the game that dark? Monitors here at the hospital are shit, but even then it looks very dark.

Amazon.co.uk has an update on the regionlock thing now btw:

Yeah, it says both.. but until SE put out an official statement; I wouldn't trust what Amazon said. They could just as easily be getting confused over the GMG statements.
