So does the game still feature the silenced sniper rifle and other stuff to be picked up somewhere during the game, or is it just removed completly?

So, I know there has been a growing trend with these AAA games where either Steam, or some one will offer an early release of the game.
Who's doing it this time? Steam? D2D? Someone?
If it's been posted, then sorry, I do indeed fail if that's the case.

Well, I suppose Portal 2 was the only one that actually is relatable, considering it was a Valve product.
But uh, I think I recall the Witcher 2 on GOG.com got an early release. (Didn't get it my self from GOG, but these are rumors.)
Anyway, I take it that's a no and we all have to wait for the 23rd?

No matter from where you buy the game, digital, retail, US, UK, etc the game uses SteamWorks.
Until Valve unlocks it nobody will be able to play it. For the US region it unlocks in 3 days and 5 hours according to Valve: http://store.steampowered.com/app/28050/
For the EU in 5 days and 20 hours.

We're waiting on this game like it's some next big thing, when to be perfectly honest, we all know this is just an average sneaker with a color grading filter and a decent PC port for a change. Nothing more really.

It really is impossible to have an opinion on this board, isn't it?
scaramonga, consolitis, akwar and dodger2020, associating oneself with a brand, image or a product creates a weak spot in your persona, where you find any criticism against it as an attack on your own image. It's laughable, paints a clear picture of your immaturity and impedes your development as a person.
I still think the game is over-hyped. I hope I'm wrong. But for fucks sake, don't get all console fanboy on me if I think different than the collective.
