To be fair the shadow/dark gameplay mechanics in splinter cell was pretty stupid. You could be close where it was obvious they should be able to spot you, but they didn´t. Don´t get me wrong, Splinter Cell games and especially chaos theory rocked!
So in that department this game is more realistic. The enemies do turn around and shoot at you very quick though.
Going to play some more. The city just opened up. A game with punks init is obviously good.

Yeah game gets better. Just moved to China, I lol'ed when heard hookers voice! The whole stealth/keeping it low profile suits this game, it's not your ordinary FPS game where you go guns blazing. So far so good, and it actually gets better. So far only time I went full Rambo mode was in the "boss" fight.

Sweet! So you change locations, that's good to hear -- I'm scared of doing more main quests on account of the game hitting me with the "FIN" screen.
Can you travel between those locations, if by chance you missed/didn't finish a side quest?

Yup, just going to china myself.
Great game, nice combo of Manhunt meets Bloodlines.
Also, wasn't comparing it to that abomination of Splinter Cell, just the old Manhunt with the whole hunting everyone till no one is left and then moving on. (Least that's what i do lol.)

It does give you a warning before you move on to China about completing all sidequests before you continue, so I doubt you can go back.
Did anyone else have a bug where you can't complete the Motherly Ties (I think that's what it is called) mission? I spoke to the woman at the end, and chose all the options, then it just stuck in the talking screen with no options to choose.

Guess you can't go back to detroit :\ Unless there will be an oppurtunity later in the game tho. Better finish up all the quests before flying to China. China's much bigger than Detroit

Im struggling with the process of hacking. My method is just clicking x and hope it hacks it before the timer runs out!
Any proper methods of how to do it?

I know (I hacked it, always be hacking -- it's gets you xp and goodies), that's not why I asked -- I think finding that is optional and I didn't knew if JamieA11 had that or not, thought it might have been the cause for the bug.

You need to be carefull , every action you do has a % of attracting the attention of the network security. Especially fortifying nodes, those have the highest %.
Like teh_bad_clown said, you should invest in stealth hack. Also it seem that the higher your hacking lvl is, the easier they get (ex. with lvl 5 hacking, hacking a lvl 4 lock is easier than with lvl 4 hacking).

And that's not what he asked.
To upgrade the inventory limit, open the Aug screen and go to the arms section.
There's 3 upgrades for inventory, each giving 2 extra rows.

Is there any advantage over stealth-killing enemies rather than just stunning them? I mostly just knock them out. The only downside I found was that they can be woken up by other enemies, but you also get a bit more XP for not killin them I believe...
Btw: Is there any way to store items other than just laying them on the ground? That rocket launcher from Detroit takes up WAY too much space, and I don't wanna carry it around until I actually need it...
