Probably trying to rush through it, like a proper tard will do.

Not bad, but Modern Warfare 2 with its 9.5 is still unsurpassed Laughing

The shooting mechanics aren't that well implemented in Deus Ex 3, it's also quite jarring and you die too easily.

To be honest, the strategy for the boss at the FEMA facility is basicly "shoot it till its dead", boss fights in this game are shit and look like they were made by interns.

Actually there's plenty of explosive, gas and whatnot barrel around to kill or badly hurt/stun him Smile anyway I agree that boss fights in a game like this are quite a weak point

Because they didn't give the game a solid 10? Get out of here. What about the review did you find fault with, because they seemed to be pretty fair in what they dinged the game on.

I think it's more that Modern Warfare 2 is getting higher score than DXHR, whereas Modern warfare 2 is generic at best Razz

Sure; however I bet I can find a ton of games within the last decade that score higher than DXHR - it all needs to be placed in context. This is the problem with a number based system, people salivate over these arbitrary scores without just listening to the review. If it helps people - just pause the review when he says ". . .and we wouldn't have it any other way."

Up to that point its a pretty perfect review that hit all the gripes I had about the demo (paramount of which was the experience penalty for NOT playing the game stealthy).

You must be on crack!!! After playing 2 hours of this game I coudln't play it any more. There was nothing fun/entertaining/challenging/original about this game.

Even if you pick the non-stealth path you still have to be stealthy. Picked Action route and tried both using the close-range and long-range gun types neither seemed to matter which way you picked.

The story overly complex to the point where you didn't really care.

If you like MGS or Splinter-cell games you will like this but it's not for action gamers.

this is a game that remembers what PC games were once all about, and honours them. It’s a refreshing reminder of what games can be, in the current swamp of six-hour follow-em-up shooters, and despite its faults, it stands shoulders, chest and waist above.
