No, seriously.. I'm confused by that. For most people, it takes them around 12-15hrs to "clean out" Detroit of everything they can possibly do. For me; 15hrs and I finished the lot, jetting off to Hengsha, and the one thing Detroit DIDN'T lack was - again, for me - content. I was always doing something, exploring somewhere.
@Newty
It's a shame GMG don't sell the preorder packs, but at least G2Play has the main one (Explosive) for €6. Worth every penny too, though if I'm being completely non-fanboy; that content should have, by rights, been in the game to start with. Grumble.

E.Y.E. was only steam protected, not ceg.
F.E.A.R.3.Update.1-SKIDROW was latest SKIDROW release with ceg.

Its not the play-time. I am absolutely satisfied by that. Its just that the city, as a city, seems incredibly small. There are very vef "people with names", the cars are static, the metro is just bridge etc. In that regard it reminds me of DX1.
It wouldnt even need alot more missions. But maybe just a few people more to speak to, some bars and restaurants instead of just apartements, some more interaction between twonsfolk, people walking around the city and not just standing there.
I think I read somewhere, the devs said themselves, they wanted to do more but had no time (or whatever the reason was.).
The game plays and is fantastic nonetheless. (If it werent for me, economising on the praxis points, always finding a way NOT to use them lol)

Ahh, I understand and yes; I agree. I want MOAR. I honestly cannot get enough of this game and I'd have loved to see a couple of bars/pubs dotted around, some more stores, more people walking about, more random events happening (like a couple of hobos fighting over the last beer in a dingy alleyway somewhere) I so dearly hope for a modding kit so we can do stuff like this. Wait till you get to Hengsh though, trust me... WOW.

A bug report from the official forums.
Quote: | System: Xbox 360
level: middle is that medium?
First bug? in the start of the game there was no aiming? after i got augmentation i got a scope but no way to keep it steady? which leads me too
second bug? they shoot me three times im dead? i thought at first it was because i had no augmentation
Now the last fps game i played was masseffect 2, i don't mind changing the way i move through the game but if they are bugs i don't want to be <----doing that over a bug.
After paying $80 to get the deus ex human revolution Augmented edition i want to make sure i get my monies worth
anyways thanks for the response |
Not sure if serious.

Humm, activating my UK version over Hotspot Shield doesn't work, the button still shows "Pre-Load". Hulu works though, so the VPN seems to be active ...

You can't activate the UK version yet, not until the 26th. You'll need to use the US IP VPN in order to fool Steam into thinking you're in America.

Yeah, used to use HSS but this time it is a no go.
I used USAIP and it works like a charm.

Have you tried closing/reopening Steam whilst the VPN is active? Or just use USAIP this one time.

Yeah, I made sure to start Steam only after Hotspot Shield connected. Anyways, I'll try USAIP now ...

I absolutely love Deus Ex but i sort of agree.
I wish the game was more open. Sort of like a mix between GTA and Deus Ex where you could roam freely in a huge city while still keeping everything that makes DE what it is (RPG elements ect). Now that would fucking rule.

I think you need to make sure your GMG email and paypal email are the same - just in case they aren't (I could be wrong but I recall summat similar happening to me). Oh and make sure you use the discount code to get 20% off mate.
