Edit: I haven't yet used these files. My download is at 80 percent still.

Gave in and started playing.

Haven't gotten past the leak content, but I hope I will by Friday evening, I wanna play new content through the weekend.

As a side note, 70% of the people on my floor(including my manager and project lead) took the day off on Friday to attend the gameshop launch at their shop. If only I wouldn't have been so new, I would have gotten the day off myself Okay

Finally cancelled my amazon pre order. Very Happy

The game runs a bit smoother than the beta, but it still chugs on some open spaces from time to time. I'll try and update my catalyst version to 11.8 but I have a feeling that this is tied to the engine itself. Sad

It got unlocked on Steam in NA. People around the world used a workaround to fool Steam into thinking they're from NA. Plus, the game's being unlocked on Friday on Europe and not tomorrow.

US release was on 23 august. So people from Europe can use US VPN to activate Deus Ex, if they bought it, of course. Cool Face

It runs perfectly stable and smooth on a HD5850 with 11.8. I have no slowdowns.

As for people expecting MORE content, it is understandable but there has to be a limit. There's a lot of small detail in there, many of which you'll miss if you're not really thorough. Deus Ex was, and I hope, never will be a game about free-roaming like GTA. It should be nothing like GTA. They need to tell a good story and make it as "free" as possible while keeping the linearity. Of course a gamr wants more unique NPCs, more unique books/mags/papers, more areas to explore etc etc. The game however needs to be released some day no?
The game offers more content in the beginning hub alone than a high profile shooter.

I don't participate in piracy, I buy all the games I play. I definitely don't need to be active in piracy anymore.
For this reason I've not played Dragon Age 2 either, as I've no intention of buying it Smile
