"Sceners" are on vacation and they'll be back by the time fall's gaming season begins. Or at least I hope they will, I don't wanna wait for P2P to save the day whenever the new game comes out. P2P is slow Sad

Steam says that I've played 7 hours up until now and I'm not sure if it counts the time I played, before it got officially "unlocked". If not, then you might add 3-4 hours, so we are at the 10-11 ...

PumpAction: Who knows, who cares. It comes down to how you played it, I bet some people can complete it in 8 hours if they rush. However it took me and my friend about 35-40 hours to finish the game, and I guess it's about same on average for most players as well.

You're doing it wrong and *might* have completed less than 90% of the side quests.
Or else you're rambo'ing it up.

Well after completing it twice now (and I got my Pacifist, Legend, and Foxiest of the Hounds Achievements), here are my thoughts (spoiler free) -

It definitely managed to stay true to the original in terms of feel, something no other game in recent memory has done.

That being said, there are quite a few useless skills (trees) -

-Fortify Hacking, Why would I want this, when I can just max Hacking Stealth instead?

- Smart Vision, Why would I want this when my mini-map already shows me all the enemies (and which way they are facing) with just a single point upgrade?

-The other hacking tree that shows you % to be detected, WTF? I see percentage to be detected on a hack from the very start of the game, with 0 skill points. Why is this skill even existent?

-Typhoon, There will never be a single time when you are surrounded by enough enemies for long enough to be worth using this skill, you die too quickly.

Ignoring all of those useless trees, I had enough points to max EVERY SINGLE other skill in all the other trees.

There are way too many skill points given throughout the game, and you're never really faced with a tough decision regarding where to allocate them once you're halfway through the game.

In DE1 you are forced to make MAJOR decisions as selecting one aug tree locks you out of the other. Here, you'll have every skill that's worth it by the end if you're thorough. This is a massive failure imo.

I've seen two of the endings now, and both the ending videos looked like they were spliced together in 5 minutes using clips from the History channel.

It's very easy to tell that the last 1/4 or so of the game was extremely rushed - very few quests, piss-poor ending vids, and no wrap-up of the supporting character story lines (basically it reminds me of Obsidian and KOTOR 2).

I've spent roughly 60 hours total. I enjoyed it, thank the dev team for at least maintaining the feel of the original (in heart), but wish they didn't rush the end so much, maybe added a third full quest hub, and forced the player to actually choose aug trees instead of making all of them available to him.

85/100.

I can never be free, because the shackles I wear can't be touched or be seen.

Well, I'm already over 8 hours and I just finished with all the quests in the DMPD station + Corella's. My next move is:

 Spoiler:

I'm playing completionist style and doing all side quests so far, taking my sweet time and exploring, I really love exploring in this game! I also use a lot the walk button when i'm in some area of interest, mostly indoors.

A little question:

Anyone know if

Deus.Ex.Human.Revolution.v1.1.622.0.READ.NFO.Cracked-Anonymous

is legit? Was just posted an hour ago.

Seems like it is mostly clean aside from what could be a few false-positives from some little fish AV apps - https://www.virustotal.com/file-scan/report.html?id=7c4c632170d2ac96b39c5ce6ba5641a57bc1708f1d89530165ca7c9ab2582a27-1314414263

Edit: Ah nm. Scanning the files individually and checking VT's "first seen" dates, it seems like it's just some repacked copy of an earlier crack.

Cool, thank you. It's pretty much similar. The ISO I have also dumps the OST in the install dir though, so that's cool.
