It felt smooth. Not like an alpha, more like the final thing. No graphic/sound issues at all. Smooth as hell. Not sure on the spec of the systems used as they would not say but I don't think they were anything that special. One thing I thought was there might be a little too much bloom used. It's nothing major just personal preference I think at the end of the day.

The level Metro was fun, 4 against 4. We were not allowed to configure the keys at all, only the mouse sensitivity which kinda sucks. Actually speaking of sound. It's wicked. Very "punchy" and I can't wait to crank it up on my system. The guys n gals running the event did say that the beta "should" be available very soon.

Guy from i3d.net gave a hint that you can pre-order a BF3 server until September 18th and then it will stop. And that is for a reason ofcourse.

Its going to be an open beta the pre-order bonus is 48 hours pre-access and more importantly - back to karkand expansion.
