It's re-encode Wink

Code:
DVD workprint. Well above a VHS source however DVD
source hasn't been treated great. Also two timers
at top, one covered up so it's not as annoying

Unknown what missing maybe nothing, but should be
good to see the action after pay to watch in cinema

VISA Release 29.97 FPS 4:3 AR
Our Release 23.97 FPS 2.35:1 AR

Also because of poor ripping, there were four parts
that contained repeated video/audio with 5 seconds
or so repeating each time. We tried to remove them
but didn't notice until after encoding sorrys

Enjoy something watchable

All hail P2P gods who leaked this disaster of DVDR
We spent far too much time on this peice of shit

Also respeck to the first group to release a quality
SVCD.TS of the theatric version.

I cant believe how so many thinks doing 16:9 fix is enough. It is NOT.
This movie is using AR of 2.35:1 I tried to tell this way sooner these other re-encodes were popping up like mushrooms

Even if you do the 16:9 fix the aspect ratio still remains too tall.
Its so sad to read all these talk about these releases and only few smart enough people seems to understand this.

Anyways, i made my own re-encode from the -visa release to xvid. What i did was i "upsampled" it so that the final resolution was 540x240.
This way the height of the resolution was not compromised.

Here is actual frame from my final re-encoded to xvid:

How do you blur a timer or logo or specific portion of a video with tmpegenc? (not specific to this video, but in general)

aren't there additional filters for virtualdub to blur logos? i vaguely remember doing that in the past. i bet there is a guide on doom9.org or vcdhelp.com.
