But maybe now, the price of jtag's will rise. you know what demand will do, and if this new fw takes it's time to arrive, jtag is the only way atm to play these games..

the game would ask for mandatory dashboard update which will flash the firmware to stock and yes u can play the original on ur 360

It's going to happen a lot more frequently now mate, given the new "reset glitch" that just came out. EVERY system can be a JTAG, with no worries as to dashboard revision. For those without JTAG, just wait a few weeks. c4eva will have a new version of LT that supports XGD3.

PS3 scene is far from "dead" actually,most PS3 models can still be Jailbroken with NOR/NANO flasher,there is still lot of homebrew stuff going on and there is still attempts at getting 3.60+ keys...(unless you consider the lack of 3.56+ FW's and games backups as the "death" of the Scene)
as for PC,it's not going to be "all ways on" in the end,it's going to be like From Dust(before it was removed)

Guess we'll have to wait for the new ripping fw... and I wonder if scene will release this game at the time we get that fw. I mean it'll be 2~months old 
All a JTAG need is a default.xex file 
NAND/NOR flashing is NOT jailbreaking, it's downgrading to an earlier exploitable firmware which ALLOWS jailbreaking. It is not the same. There are no "efforts" to find 3.6 keys, because the only ones that know how are refusing to on anti-piracy grounds. Nobody here gives a fuck about Linux, people bought their PS3 for GAMES, not six hundred updates to Showtime, or some random ASCII homebrew rubbish.
