How comes there's no HUD in the game? No life bar, or score or anything. And how come there's not even a simple tutorial? The first part of the game makes you shoot targets with specific weapons but it doesn't tell you anything at all. Seems odd.

It makes you use the three weapons on different targets, I'd say it's enough for a shoot-'em-up 
(As for the HUD, I didn't have it either in the prologue but it magically appeared during the first-second stage.)

There actually is, but there's a bug that makes it sometimes disappear. Try restarting the game.
