The mention of sales reminded me - UKIE seems to have decent sales figures (though they don't count digital? and obviously don't count Steam).

http://www.ukie.info/content/ukie-week-34-2011-uk-video-games-charts

"Deus Ex returns to the All Formats Chart in style as Square and Eidos Montreal’s ‘Deus Ex: Human Revolution’ debuts at No1, just 26,000 units short of outperforming previous title Deus Ex: Invisible War’s lifetime sales in just 2 days. Xbox 360 is the format of choice with a 57% share, followed by PS3 with 31% and PC 13%."

Worth keeping an eye on, since even though it doesn't count digital, and it is only UK, it's a fairly reputable source. Smile

Oh no, not my print.

I accidentally killed a guard standing behind a weak wall, reloading the save didn't do anything, the achievement was ruined. Gonna start it again next weekend and try to get Pacifist.

hey is there an achievement for shooting everyone in the head that you've first knocked unconscious? because there should be Very Happy

speaking of which,
 Spoiler:

had no ammo for my assault rifle, so did the entire thing with my silenced pistol... shitload of fun, it really was. specially when i knocked a guy unconscious, hacked a terminal, made a turret kill his friend, picked up the turret and threw it into a mine, then shot the unconscious guy in the head as i walked out of the room.

i guess i dont like to leave loose ends.

You know what's fun in this game? Throwing grenades at people and knocking them down. The infinite rocks idea from the first FarCry doesn't sound so bad now Laughing.

you know whats REALLY fun? finding those explosive barrels in china and just lobbing them down the street at random civilians.

also, i just got to the top part of china... did anyone else just stop and LOOK? it looks stunning.. really nicely designed, it actually surprised me... stunned me.

in a way it actually reminds me of half-life 2, that bit in the mines, where you're in teh dark, and suddenly come into the light, and you feel relief, because the light was all the more precious because of its absense.. yeah im probably not making sense, but it was a real treat to see the sun and something beautiful finally in teh game, to contrast all the shitty decay.

i thought future china was a hole, but its insanely nice and modern... THATS where i want to go exploring, not these freakin corridors!

although all that bright sun-light might make gloomy adam suffocate or something...

Nixxes working on "additional features on the PC side that we noticed some players would really like to see."

Wonder what those will be... (inb4 "SDK", nah).

Finally; too bad that they don't know how to fix it since they're actually just "investigating" on the issue (better than nothing, though. At least they're aware of this common problem).

In some other thread they claimed that the game ran "fine" on their test platforms, so I'm not really expecting much from them. Sad

Maybe a new ATI driver can help, too?

They either lied or tried the game on a couple of (lucky) PCs Razz Nvidia users are affected as well as Ati users, it's definitely an engine-related problem Smile (I tried the latest Catalyst but they didn't improve the situation, as usual xD)

I never had any stutter problems with this game so it sure isn't because of the PC the game is running on.

Also, I love Malik!
